SEALTEAMNEXUS
How it Works
At SealTeamNexus, we are dedicated to helping veterans secure the VA benefits they deserve by providing strong, evidence-based Nexus Letters. As veterans ourselves, we understand the challenges of the VA claims process and work tirelessly to support you every step of the way.

Step 1: Initial Consultation
- Fill out a short intake form or schedule a call.
- We’ll discuss your VA claim, medical history, and whether a Nexus Letter is appropriate.
- If we determine a Nexus Letter is beneficial, we’ll guide you on the next steps.

Step 2: Submit Your Documents
- You’ll need to provide relevant medical records, VA rating decisions, service records (DD-214), and any past VA claim denials.
- If applicable, include private medical evaluations or previous doctor’s opinions.
- All documents are reviewed confidentially.

Step 3: In-Depth Medical Record Review
- Our provider (a licensed medical professional with VA claim expertise) will carefully analyze your records.
- We assess service connection, aggravation, and secondary conditions that may strengthen your claim.

Step 4: Nexus Letter Drafting
- If the evidence supports your claim, we will draft a detailed, professional Nexus Letter using VA-friendly language.
- The letter will include:
- A medical opinion based on “at least as likely as not” standard.
- A clear rationale linking your condition to military service (or a service-connected condition).
- References to medical literature or VA policies, if applicable.

Step 5: Review & Delivery
- You’ll receive a draft copy to review. (Some providers allow minor revisions if needed.)
- The final signed & dated Nexus Letter is delivered in PDF format (or mailed upon request)

Step 6: Submit to the VA
- You can submit the Nexus Letter through:
- VA.gov (upload to your claim)
- A VSO (Veteran Service Officer)
- Mailing it to your VA regional office
- Including it in your VA appeal or supplemental claim

Optional: Follow-Up Support
- If the VA requests additional clarification, we may provide a follow-up statement (fees may apply).
- We also offer Nexus Letters for secondary conditions, helping you maximize your VA benefits.
